CANARY FLY Flight Delay Compensation
Whenever you're kept waiting by CANARY FLY flight delays, it's worth checking whether you're entitled to compensation for your time. If CANARY FLY is responsible for the delay, EU regulations say that passengers are owed up to €600 per person when they're delayed by 3 hours or more.
When you're claiming flight delay compensation, CANARY FLY will check what time the flight arrived at the final destination. That's because for flight delay claims it is the time that you arrived that is important, not the time of departure. AirHelp owns one of the most comprehensive databases of flight stats available, so we can always back up CANARY FLY flight delay compensation claims with the exact delay time.
Exceptions:
Airlines like CANARY FLY do not have to pay out compensation if there's some external reason for the delay. That means delays caused by bad weather, an incident at the airport, or air traffic control strikes are not eligible for compensation. These kind of situations are called extraordinary circumstances.
You can learn more about what is and isn't included on our flight delay compensation page.

Flight Cancellation Compensation CANARY FLY
In the event of a CANARY FLY flight cancellation, European laws on air passenger rights are clear: CANARY FLY must offer you alternative transportation to get to your destination or, if you prefer, a refund.
In addition, if you received a notice regarding cancellation less than 14 days before departure, you may also be able to claim compensation up to €600 per person.
In general, when CANARY FLY cancels flights, it will attempt to rebook passengers directly onto another flight at no additional cost. You can request other changes if the alternative flight that is offered does not work for you or if you no longer want to take that trip.
If CANARY FLY can book you a new flight that lands at a similar time to your original flight, it is not required to pay any compensation. This is correct, because you will arrive at your destination with minimal disruption to your plans. However, in many cases, passengers whose flights are canceled at the last minute have the right to file a claim against CANARY FLY for compensation.
All this applies unless the flight cancellation was caused by an event beyond the control of CANARY FLY, such as bad weather conditions or an accident at the airport. These events are referred to as exceptional circumstances.
